Pema Khandu on Saturday campaigned in Assam’s Nowboicha constituency in support of the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), expressing confidence in the party’s prospects while highlighting progress in resolving long-pending inter-state boundary disputes in the Northeast.
Addressing a campaign gathering, Khandu backed AGP candidate Basanta Das and said the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would secure a decisive mandate in the constituency. He attributed this confidence to what he described as sustained development and political stability under the BJP-led alliance in Assam.
