Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday handed over appointment letters to 3,420 candidates selected for various posts in the state’s health sector, marking another major step in strengthening public healthcare services and generating employment.
The appointment letters were distributed at a ceremonial function held at Khanapara in Guwahati. The selected candidates have been recruited for technical and non-technical posts under the Directorate of Health Services, Directorate of Medical Education and Research, and the Directorate of AYUSH, officials said.
