Rongali Bihu

Rongali Bihu known as "Bohag Bihu", it is a begining of Assamese New Year and arrival in month of April and its celebrated across the state with great joy and enthusiam.

The festivals signifies the agriculture and seasons comes with spring.

Bihu dance where a men and women perform on engertic beats of dhol and pepa prepares songs and engertic bihu dance and wear traditional attire and Asomiya Gohona.

They also prepares food, such as  poka mithoi, ghila pitha, til laru, and narikol laru.
