Assam Board of Secondary Education briefly announced the result of the matriculation on June 7 i.e. today. Everyone was waiting till the day the results of the Assam High School Education Examination were announced in 2022. A total of 405,582 students appeared for the high school education examination in Assam in 2022. The number of students appearing for the matriculation examination is 188,570 and the number of students is 217,012. Out of 405,582 students appearing for the high school education examination, a total of 229,131 students passed the examination.
Out of the passed students, 65,176 passed in the first division, 99,854 in the second division and 64,101 in the third division. The pass percentage of Assam High School Education Examination for 2022 is 56.49 per cent. The pass rate of students in high school education examinations has come down in 2022 after the last four years.
The pass percentage of students in this year's exam is 58.80 per cent and that of students is 54.49 per cent. It may be recalled that high school education examination for the covid was not conducted in 2021 and over 90 percent students passed the previous exam in the state that year.
