Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant has faced punishment for his displeasure over no-ball in the match against Rajasthan Royals, disrupting the match and criticising the umpire. Pant has been fined 100 per cent of his game fee for violating the IPL code of conduct. In other words, their entire match fee has been deducted. Apart from Pant Delhi Capitals bowler Shardul Thakur and assistant coach Praveen Amre have also been fined. Amr went to the ground during the dispute. He has been banned for a game. At the same time, he has also been fined 1100% of the match fee.

Shardul Thakur has been fined 50 per cent of his playing fee for violating ipl code of conduct. Pant has admitted to violating Level 2 of Article 2.7 under the IPL Code of Conduct. Shardul has been convicted of breaking Level 2 of Article 2.8 for supporting Rishabh Pant in the game. Thakur has also accepted his sentence.
