Delhi NCR region after over 50 schools in the national capital and Noida were reportedly evacuated after atleasrt six schools recieved bomb threats on Wedensday morning.
As per reports, Mothe Mary School at Mayur Vihar, Delhi Public School at Dwarka, Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, Delhi Public School at Vasnt Kunj and Amity School in Saket are some of the schools which recieved threates via email
All schools have been evacuated after local police was informed about the emails, the police official said, we got information that the same email was sent to several schools at around 4:15 am, we took action anad made the decision to close the schools and the sent the students back hmome, checking is underway at all the schools and our technical wing is investigating the email , its seems its a mass email I want to request all the students and parents to remain calm and not to pain, we are checking each and every schools and are in contact with the school administration" said DCP South West, Rohit Meena
The Delhi police added,soon after recieving the threats bomb detection team, bomb disposal squad and officials of Delhi Fire Service rushed to the schools and a need a probe is undrway.
