First Time Ever IVF Baby at GMCH....

For the first time in GMCH a baby conceived through In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) technology at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH)

GMCH Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Achyut Chandra Baishya disclosed this achievement during a press conference at GMCH hospital announced the birth of a baby girl conceived through IVF, was deliverd via (caesarean) section in the hospital.

Prof. Baishya revealed, "In 2022 we initated an infertility clinic at our hospital, on march 27 2024 a baby girl conceived through IVF, and both mother  and baby in stable condition, brings immense joy to our fraternity.
