Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned TMC leader Mahua Moitra and busniessman Darshan Hiranandani for questioning in a foregin exchange violation case on March 28 Wedensday.
Trinamool Congress leader was called for questioning earlier by the agency, Moitra was expelled from the Lok Sabha on December for "unethical conduct" has been renominated by her party from West Bengal Krishnagar seat for upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Mohua expulsion from the Lok Sabha came about allegations raised by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, who accused her of leveraging her parliamentary poisition to target the Adani group and PM Narendra Modi in exchange of gifts, she has been compromising national security for monetary gains.
The ED wants to question her over transcations , linkede to a non-resident external or NRE, accounts, Moitra has denied any wrongdoing in the matter as per media reports.
