Election Comission's squad arresrted Jintu Hazarika. On thursday the Static Surveillance Team (SST) reportedly detained Assam Pradesh Congress Committe (APCC), the personal assistant of Bhupen Borah in Lakhimpur.
Jintu Hazarika was found in possession of significant sum of cash amounting to Rs 5.81 Lakh.
Official stated thta they suspected hat the cash was intended for election related activites, possibly for handing out to people to lure them to vote for the party.
