Ex-servicemen from the districts of Gomti, North, South, and West Tripura, as well as Unakoti, Dhalai, and Khowai, participated in the event.
The program was aimed to expedite the resolution of various issues related to pensions, documentation and administrative discrepancies. It also served to disseminate the latest information on welfare schemes and policies introduced by higher headquarters and the Government of India.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approx 300 veterans, including Veer Naris and war widows. To ensure prompt redressal of grievances, multiple facilitation cells incl job enrollment cell were established by the Army. An ECHS medical assistance cell, manned by trained healthcare personnel, was also set up to provide essential medical aid, health check-ups and medicines to veterans residing in remote areas.
During the event, the Station Commander interacted personally with the veterans, Veer Naris and war widows, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their service and sacrifices.
