 On 25th January, Tawang Arunachal Pradesh, a remarkable demonstration of Civil-Military Synergy, the troops of Gajraj Corps of the Indian Army swiftly responded to an SOS call from the Tawang Administration to combat a massive jungle fire at Sukyur, near Lum La.

Two fire-fighting columns, led by dedicated officers, were immediately mobilised. Working in close coordination with the state administration, the teams successfully contained the fire, thereby protecting precious lives and property.
