Rohit Sharma's Indian cricket team returned home on Thursday after winning the World Cup in Barbados. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who himself scored a record hat-trick, met the team of heroes, captains and heroes. After returning home, the Prime Minister invited Team India for a tea party. Team India arrived at the Prime Minister's residence on Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi with the championship trophy in their hands. All the players of Team India including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya met the Prime Minister. Team India coach Rahul Dravid also met Modi. BCCI Secretary Jai Shah also met Modi along with Team India.
Prime Minister Modi congratulated everyone and listened to everyone's stories of their world conquest experiences.
