Cachar District: Section 144 Imposed Along in Indo-Bangla Border of Lok Sabha Polls…    

The Cachar District administration  of Assam has decided to implemented order along 33.6 km  long border along  shares with Bangladesh

This order just come ahead of the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections in Assam and scheduled to be held  for three phases on April 19, April 26 and May 7

District Commisioner Rohan Kumar Jha will not be permitted to move within a 1 kilometer radius of the Indo- Bangladesh border from sunset to sunrise under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPc).
