IIT Guwahati Researchers Develop Algorithm Early Detection Parikson’s Disease…

Researchers from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, have deviced groundbreaking alogorithm named Unique Brain Network Identification Number (UBNIN), which have been developed encoding the understanding and m,anagement of  Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions.

 An examination is conducted in collaboration with the National Instuitude of Mental Health and Neurosciences (    NIMHANS), India,  they examined  Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans obtained from 180 Parikson’s Disease patients   and 70 individual healthy disease..

 Dr Cota Navin Gupta, Assistant Professor  at IIT Guwahati, Neural’s Engineering Lab of Biosciences said, UBNIN is a special numbers representing brain characteristics of each human brain and reconstruct  the original brain  network, this UBNIN alogorithm will enable us to identify and characterize encode-decode brain networks of every human being efficiently.

 PhD Scholars Tanmayee Samantaray highlighlighted the algorithm potential  for tracking brain plasticity over time.

 It can also be applied to ther neurological conditions like Schizophernia,  Alzheimer’s and depression, it may be implemented on various dataset such as protein, social, and traffic networks making a versatile tool for understanding complex system dynamic s of the nervous system.
