As per reports, the ongoing problems of drought in Assam , locals of Adarsha Gorehagi village in the discrit of Biswanath Assam. A frog wedding is an ancient ceremony that involves marrying wild frogs wuth traditionals rituals to please God to get relief from the drought-like situations.
The ceremony also known as 'Bhekuli Biya' in Assam, the ethusiastic participations of the villargers of all ages.
The rituatls asically there is no water on the pond, no food for the cattle and goat, facing a drought-like conditions, 700 families of Gorehagi villages have conducted frog marriage.
Most of the farmers are facing this massive problems, as there is no rainfall from the past many days of rain many trees are dying and paddy fields are dry so the villagers of Gorehagi decided to conduct a frog marriage and followed the ancestors traditions.
A local youth said, we decided to perform a frog marriage with proper rituals and all villagers have participated as per media reports.
