Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 77th death anniversary at Raj Ghat in New Delhi who often hails Gandhi as the "Father of the Nation".
Taking to X, PM Modi posted, "Tributes to Pujya Bapu on his Punya Tithi. His ideals motivates us to build a developed India. I also pay tributes to all those martyred of our nation and recall their service as well as sacrifices.
President of India Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Mohan Lal Khattar MoS Sanjay Seth, Chief of Defence Staff, and Chiefs of the Army, Navy nad Air Force were also present at solemn ocassion and also paid tribute to "Father of Nation".
