Cabinet Approves One Nation, One Election, Likely To be Tabled In Parliament In Next Week...

The Union Cabinet approves on Thursday, 'One Nation One Election Bill', the legislation is likely to be tabled in this Winter Session of Parliamentary, the bill will be referred  to Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC)
 

Union Cabinet accepted the recommendations for high level committee chaired by former President Ram Nath Kovind on holding and its approves the bill is to allow simultaneous Lok Sabha polls and the state assembly elections together, and another ordinary bill to align elections for assemblies in
Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir and Puducherry

The two bills are likely to be introduced in the ongoing Parliament session.
