The water crisis in Delhi has increased to such an extent that it has now spread from the streets to the hospitals of Delhi. Due to the water crisis in Lutyens Delhi, the water supply of Lady Hardinge and RML hospitals has also been affected. On the other hand, Haryana and Delhi are blaming each other. Water Minister Atishi is demanding water from the state's Naib Saini government.

Long queues of people were seen in several parts of the national capital on Tuesday to get water from tankers as the city sweltered in heat. Morning visuals showed people from Vasant Vihar, Geeta Colony and Kusumpur Pahari in Okhla area standing in queues, holding cans and buckets and crowding around water tankers. Now the problem has spread to the colonies and streets of Delhi and reached the hospitals.

Amid rising temperatures, these scenes have become an everyday occurrence in many areas of the national capital since the summer season started this year. A local resident of Okhla described his plight and said that his whole day goes in fetching water for the family.
