President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Cabinet at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Sunday after the NDA won a majority in the Lok Sabha elections. The 71 cabinet ministers were sworn in on Sunday but their portfolios have not been distributed. It is not yet clear who will get what ministry. The 71-member Modi 3.0 cabinet includes 30 cabinet ministers and five independent ministers of state. Modi held a tea meet at his residence on Sunday morning before taking office for the third time as Prime Minister. According to BJP sources, several leaders were called the night before before going there. It was assumed that those invited to the event were potential members of the Cabinet. They were seen at the swearing-in ceremony with Modi on Sunday evening. 30 members were sworn in as ministers along with Modi at the Rashtrapati Bhavan while 41 members were sworn in as ministers of state.
