In the initial trends of Lok Sabha elections 2024, NDA has crossed the majority mark. NDA is leading on 288 seats. In which BJP is ahead on 240 seats. On the other hand, India Alliance is also performing well and has taken a lead on 211 seats in the first two hours. Congress alone is seen leading on 92+ seats.
In the initial trends, a close contest is seen between BJP and Congress in many states. Rajasthan is also included in this. There is a close contest between BJP and Congress in 25 Lok Sabha seats of Rajasthan. Congress is leading on 13 seats while BJP is ahead on 12 seats.
If we look at the trends in Rajasthan, a big upset is seen. BJP seems to be facing a big setback. Last time BJP had won 24 out of 25 seats in the state. Congress could not even open its account. But this time Congress is not only performing unexpectedly well, but has also gone ahead of BJP in the initial trends.
Congress was wiped out in the Modi wave in Rajasthan. The party could not even open its account in 2014. In 2019, it secured 34.22% vote share, but could not win even a single seat this time too. But this time it seems to be doing a miracle.
If we look at the initial trends, the seats where BJP is leading include Rajsamand, Jaipur, Pali, Alwar seats. Similarly, Congress is leading in seats like Karauli, Barmer, Jaipur Rural, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Bharatpur.
