Assam: 47 dogs rescued by Assam Police from Golaghat,5 arrested....

Assam police rescued 47 dogs from smugglers in Golaghat district, as per resports that 22 dogs were recovered on May 29 by another 25 on May 31.

Five smugglers have been arrested and and three vehicles seied in connection with the incident.

In May earlier, NGO's in Barak Valley helped rescue 14 dogs from Cachar District, Cachar SP Numal Mahatta reported that these dogs were found in Ramnagar near the ISBT, of two suspects.

Further informed that these dogs were picked up from various valleyand initial investigation  suspects that the dogs were likely to transported in Mizoram.
