Former IPS officer Anand Mishra to file a nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections stated that he will be filing his nomination from Buxar, Bihar May 7
Mishra confirmed the new s about contesting from t he Buxar parliamentary constituency on his official X handle (twitter) on Sunday
“We are Filing Nomination for Lok Sabha Election- 2024 from 33 BUXAR LS Seat ( Bihar) on 7th May, 2024. Everyone is coridally ninvited on 07-05-2024 @ 10 AM to Buxar, Bihar please”
Anand Mishra stated that he join politics and would contest indepebdently from Buxar, He served as Superintendent of Police in various districts of Assam such as, Charaideo, Dhubri, Nagaon, and North Lakhimpur, he give his resignation from his position in december 2023.
As per reports Mishra was eyeing a Bharatiya Janata Party, (BJP) ticket from Buxar.
