PM Narendra Modi to visit Assam on April 17, in order to address an election rally at Bindachal Borkura, which situated in Nalbari district, Assam under the Barpet Lok Sabha constituency.


Assam Tourism Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah said PM Narendra Modi will visit the state on April 17 address a campaign rally in Nalbari. Baruah told ANI on Thursday.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also visit Assam over two days on April 7-8 during he scheduled to address three rallies ahead of the seven phase general elections.

Shah will address three election rallies in Hojai, Lakhimpur and Gohpur.

The constituency contains total number of 19,49,873 registered voters of which 9,88,570 man and while 9,61,303 happen to be women.
