The Supreme Court granted  bail on Tuesday April 2, to Aam Admi Party (AAP), leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh in the money laundering case related to Delhi liquor policy case, after the acquisition was made by Enforcement Directorate (ED).


ED was arrested Singh on October 4 last year, the ED told the apex court that it had no objection to grant of bail, the Court ordered to released othe release of Sanjay Singh on bail, that the Court clarifys has not expressed anything on merits.


Prior granting Singh bail, a bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna, Dipankar Datta and PB Varale clarified that concession made on behalf of the probe agency shall not be citied as precedent. During the hearing, the bench told Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, appearing for ED that no money had been recovered from the posssesion of Singh and the allegation of receving a Rs 2 crore bride could be tested in the trail.

Reacting to the apex court order, AAP Leader said 'Satyamev Jayete' posted on a X in a social media.
