On Thursday, young Riyan Parag Rajasthan Royals (RR) smashed his third-half century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in their match against Delhi Capitals. Despite battling illness for the three days, Parag's remarkable innings of 84 not out off 45 balls Rajasthan Royals to a thrilling victory.
Riyan, who has been promoted to No.4 this season started his campaign on a high scored 43 runs in their first match against Lucknow Super Giants on March 24.
Parag is set the world record for scoring the consecutive fifties in T20 cricket in many games for Assam, includes top-scoring in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Tropy in 2023.
After the match, Riyan revealed that he had been in bed for the last three days, "I was in bed, I was sick and I just got up with painkillers etc, and so I could manage today, so I am really happy for myself".
