The operation carried out in multiple locations in Assam including Guwahati, Muzzaffapur , Gorakpur and Araria on March 12 and 13.
The Directorate of Revenue (DRI) conducated a operations across multiple cities in India.
They recovered 22.74 kg of gold, Rs 13 Lakh cash in a vehicles and a electronuc items enroute from Guwahati to Barpeta, seized 13.28 kg of smuggled gold and arrest two more individuals.
DRI officers from Muzzafarpur recovery 13.27 kg gold, in Gorakpur anothe vehicle was intercepted 11.79 kg of foreign-origin gold.
