PM Narendra Modi on Saturday took elephant and jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park, during his maiden visit to UNESCO World Hertiage site.
PM Modi said in a post X 'Kaziranga is known for the rhions but there are also large number of elephants there, along with other several other species,' he also met Lakhimai, Pradyumna and Phoolmai the three elephants in the Kaziranga National Park while he was feeding sugar cane.
PM Modi also urgerd people to visit Kaziranga National Park and experince the 'unparelled beauty' and the warmth of the people of Assam.
In the park, Modi also interacted with the forest guard women , interacted Van Durga, the team of women forest guards who were at the forefront of consevation efforts, bravely protecting our forestsx and wildlife.
He also said that this is the place where everyone visit to enriches the soul.
