QATAR COURT RELEASES 8 FORMER INDIAN NAVY.....

On Febuary 12 released all 8 former sailors of the Indian Navy, out of these seven sailors have been released and boarded their flights back to India. But the eight, only Commander Purnedu Tiwari has not returned yet, although Commander Tiwari has been released from prision along with others.  Commander Tiwari expected to be back in India soon. 

This information has been given in the statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.
The Indian nationals, all employees of Doha based company Dahra Global were taken custody in August 2022 after being accused of allegedly submarine programme.

We appreciate  the decision by the Amir of the State of Qatar to enable the release and homecoming of these nationals.
