Footpath Obstruction Cleared in Surprise Drive Near Don Bosco School, Panbazar

In a swift and coordinated effort, the Kamrup Metro District Administration, in collaboration with the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), and  Police carried out a sudden footpath clearance drive near Don Bosco School, Panbazar, today.Several illegal structures and roadside obstructions were dismantled during the operation. The administration has reiterated its commitment to maintaining clean and accessible public spaces and warned that similar enforcement drives will continue in other congested areas of the city.
The drive aimed to remove unauthorized encroachments and restore public footpaths for pedestrian use. It was led by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Kamrup Metro, Sri Casio Karan Pegu.
