On March 4, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma he said that 2023 was the most successful year for anti-drugs operations of the state.
Sarma posted on X (twitter) on Sunday, in 2023, Assam Police seized drugs valued at Rs 718 crore and arrested over 4,700 traffickers making it most successful year for anti-drugs operations in the state.
Narendra Modi-led goverenment has been deploying a whole of goverenment approach to build a #DrugsFreeBharat, he added.
