The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released its ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the 2026 Assam Assembly elections, highlighting jobs, development, and protection of indigenous identity as key priorities.
The party has promised over two lakh government jobs and financial assistance of ₹2–5 lakh to educated youth to promote self-employment. It also pledged to boost infrastructure, investment, and economic growth in the state.
Emphasising cultural identity, the BJP said it would continue measures to protect land rights of indigenous communities. The manifesto also includes commitments to strengthen education and welfare schemes.
The BJP is aiming for a third consecutive term in Assam, banking on its development agenda and governance record.
