Assam Drawn in Group B for U-13 ASMITA National Football Championship in Punjab

Assam have been drawn in Group B of the U-13 ASMITA National Football Championship, which is scheduled to take place in Mahilpur, Punjab, in April. The state side will face Karnataka, Jharkhand and Rajasthan in the group stage of the national competition.
The draw for the tournament was conducted by the All India Football Federation, which placed Punjab, Gujarat, Mizoram and Kerala in Group A. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the final stage of the championship.
Assam qualified for the national round from the North-East Zone along with Mizoram and will be aiming to advance beyond the group stage when the tournament kicks off next month.
