The administration has declared all educational institutions including schools and colleges closed due to heavy rains on Monday. Moderate to heavy rains caused more or less flooding in several parts of Telangana on Saturday.

Hyderabad has declared all educational institutions closed due to heavy rains, Heavy rains are expected in several districts of Telangana in the next 24 hours, the IMD said. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed all government officials to remain vigilant in view of heavy rains.

NDRF teams are deployed in Hyderabad, for rescue operations.
