A helicopter carrying seven passenger, including pilgrims on board made an emergency landing in Uttarakhand in Kedarnath after developing a technical snag on friday.
Reportedly, the helicopter landed a few meters from the helipad near the Kedarnath Temple an official said.
It was carrying seven people, including six pilgrims and the pilot, everyone are safe.
Rudraprayag District Magistrate Saurabh Gaharwar said the helicopter took from the Sirsi helipad for Kedarnath at 7 AM on Friday. It deverloped a techincal snag ints rear motor, prompting the pilot to make man emergency landing few meters from the helipad in Kedarnath.
Gaharwar said, the pilot kept his cool and took a quick decisions, averting a major mishap.
And further investigations are underway.
