On April 7, 94 people died and 26 are missing after a ferry sank off yhe north coast in Mozambique, as local authorities said and 26 are still missing , Louremco Machado, an administrator of the country's Martini Transport said on a state television.
The boat was overcrowded and unsuited to carry passengers, it was ended up sinking, they carry about 130 people. Officials in Nampula Secretary of the State Jaime Meto said, many childrens were there in the incident.
The boat was apparently travelling from Lunga to Mozambique Island, off the coast of Nampula, the British Broadcasting Crop added.
Recures had found five survivors, an investigation team had working to find out the causes of the boat disasters, the official said.
