The Strategic Forces Command (SFC), along with Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted successful flight test of New Generation Ballastic Missile Agni-Prime.
The test was conducted from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam island off the cost of Odisha, at approximately 1900 hrs, the launch was witnessed by the Chief of Defence Staff Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Strategic Forces Command, senioe officials from the DRDO, and the Indian Army.
This confirmation was obtained through the analysis of data captured bya numerous of range sensors developed at various locations.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO,SFC and the Armed Forces for the successful test. Minister Singh emphasised that the successful development and integration of the Agni-Prime missile woul serve as a significant force multiplier for the Armed Forces.
