The name of the fraudster is Bharat Poddar, he had embezzled crores of rupees from many people, and crores of rupees from many people, he funds in the name of various businesses. Poddar embezzled money from many for Travels Agency's Flight tickets, and travel packages.
As per reports, Poddar's fraudulent activities was not only confined to Guwahati,, adding ithat it extended beyond the city periphery.
Police arrested the fraudster on Wednesday night, cases were registered against fraudster Bharat Poddar in Guwahati as well as several police stations in the state.
Further investigation is underway.
