PM's  Modi visit Kaziranga from March 7 to 9....

PM Narendra Modi's visit to Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve in Assam, along with other VVIPs, the Jeep Safari and Elephant rides will remain closed in the Kaziranga range of Kohora from March 7 to 9.

Arun Vignesh, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Eastern Assam Wildlife Division make an official notice will be temporarily closed from March 7 to March 9. PM Modi during his stay is likely to enjoy a jungle safari within the Kohora range of the park.

The authorities also mentioned the Jeep Safari and Elephant Rides  will remain optional inside the park, Kaziranga also declared national park in February 1974 and this year  will be celebrating Golden Jubilee.
