Amritpal Singh was elected to Parliament from Khadoor Sahib constituency in Punjab in the last Lok Sabha elections. The Khalistani leader was arrested under the National Security Act and detained in Dibrugarh Central Jail. The court released Amritpal on parole for four days to take oath as an MP. Amritpal Singh was flown to Delhi on a special flight under tight security this morning. Amritpal will be returned to Dibrugarh District Jail in four days.
