Karnataka Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre on Monday informed that the state goverenment will hospitality expenses incurred during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visist to Mysuru in april last year, the remarked followed the reports that the hotel, Radission Blu Plaza, has threatened legal actions for non settlements of bills amounts of Rs 80.6 lakh,
Modi stayed at the hotel during his visit to Mysuru in April 2023 to commemorate the 50th year of "Project Tiger".
However, due to the Assembly elections in Karnataka at that time, the state goverenment was not involved in organizing the event, as the Model Code of Condut (MCC) was in effect.
As per reports, had emerged that the hotel where the PM stayed might seek legal actions to recover unpaid dues, in response Khandre assured that the issue would be resolved amicably, emphasing that state's commitments to honoring its obligations.
