The victim was identified as 20-year-old Arun Kumar, a resident of Gandhi Basti in the city. But surprisingly, three days later, the accused, Ibrahim Rahman, has not been arrested yet.

However, Chanmari police have arrested two of Ibrahim's associates for questioning.

The victim's family filed cases against the accused in 2019 and Ibrahim had taken bail from the police station in the case. Ibrahim gave a written promise not to do such a thing a second time.
