The Assam Cabinet has approved Rs 380.66 crore to open stadium at Amingaon Sports Complex at Kamrup district. The dicision was taken during a state cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma .
The initative for construction of a State-of-the-art facilities in order to train to sports skills and encourage the community to participate in Assam.
Cricket stadium of 20,000 spectator capacity at the complex, the facilities have been highlighted- International Coach Accomadation (20 seater), National Coach Accomadation (20 seater), Players Girl Hostels (96 seater), Players Boys Hostel (96 seater)
The Cabinet meeting decsions underscore the goverenment's firm to achieve many developments and needs of the people of Assam.
