The T20I between India vs South Africa to be played at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati on October 2 has now seen a lot of excitement among cricket fans.
Ticket bookings have started from today. Within just 15 minutes of the release of the ticket today, the tickets reserved for students of Rs 475 have ended. Sales of the rest of the tickets are also going on in full swing.
India and South Africa will host the International T20I between India and South Africa on October 2 at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. The Barsapara Cricket Stadium is gearing up for the match. Ticket sales have started online from today. The much-awaited T20 match in Guwahati will be witnessed by around 29,000 spectators this time.
The BCCI has already announced the Indian team. The Indian team includes Rohit Sharma (captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Surya Kumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicketkeeper), R Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Akshar Patel, R Singh, Mohammed Shami, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar and Jasprit Bumrah. Hardik Pandya has been rested.
Sunil Gavaskar, Sanjay Manjekar, Sanjay Bangar will visit Guwahati as commentators. Sourav Ganguly will arrive in Guwahati on October 1 as bcci chief. Sachin Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni will also visit Guwahati as guests.
