On Thursday April 4, Gourav Vallabh, from all the party post for upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024, he said in his resignation letter "I do not feel comfortable with the directionless way in which Congress party is moving forward, I can neither raise anti-Sanatana slogans nor abuse the wealth creators of the country".

Sharing a two pages of resignation letter on a social media platform on X, Vallabh who contested the Rajasthan Assembly election from Udaipur constituency in 2023, faced defeat as the BJP candidate secured a significant victory with a margin exceeding 32,000 votes, BJP's Tarachand Jain clocked 97,466 votes as compared to Vallabh's 64,695.

Vallabh also made his poll debut in 2019 from Jharkhand's in Jamshedpur East, with over 18,000 votes he ended up in third spot and then sitting CM Raghubar Das and Saryu Roy.

Additinally, he added that the Congress party is moving away from the 'fundamental principle of the patry' and heading in the wrong direction.
