Congress President Rana Goswami may join BJP....

Assam Congress working President Rana Goswami resigned from the satte congress party on Wedensday and headed to New Delhi, where he may join BJP.

Goswami make a statement on his regisnation letter, 'I beg to state I am tendering my resignation as the working President of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee and as  an active member of Indian National Congress', he said in the resigmation letter addressed to Congress General Secretary (orgainsation), KC Venugopal.

Goswami previously served as MLA of Jorhat who was recently stepped down from his role as a working President of Congress. 

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Tuesday as per reports, 'he is apowerful leader of the Congress, and if he joins BJP, I will welcome it.'
