On March 2 Saturday, the community where they display spirit and compassion, the Kalibari Temple in Dhubri witnessed a grand mass marriage ceremony, nineteen couples hailed from different corners of Assam, exchanged vows under the auspious of the Temple.
The initative for this event was taken by Dhubri Kalibari Trust, an orgainization committed to less fortunate, it plays father pivotal role in giving away his daughter during a wedding . Dhubri Kalibari TruST stepped in to perform the Kanyadan a symbolic act of giving away the bride.
