The KTM Race Academy, a Assam boy Sashanka Sharma who won a third position in amature category in a racing program called the KTM RC CUP SEASON 2, 390 cc One Make National Championship, recently concluded at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore, it is recogonised by FMSCII as KTM's One Make Championship and received the support of Castrol and CEAT this year.
His father Dr Kushal Konwar Sarma is an Indian Veterinarian from Assam. Famous as the elephant doctor of Assam, Sarma was awared the Padma Shri award in the field of medicine.
