In the view of these forecasts, a yellow alert have been issued over the entire Northeast region for the next five days, heavy rainfall/snowfall very likely over Arunachal Pradesh on March 20 and March 23 and over Sikkim on March 23 and isolated heavy rainfall over Assam and Meghalaya on March 23.
During March 19 to 25 will be light/moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Mizoram, Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim acorring to Indian Meteoeological Department (IMD).
