Jasprit Bumrah Ruled Out of T20 World Cup

India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup, which will be held in Australia from October 16, with a stress fracture. Bumrah was earlier ruled out of the Asia Cup due to a back injury.

According to sources, Bumrah is suffering from a back injury. The Indian pacer could not play in the Asia Cup due to an injury. Bumrah could not even play his first match against South Africa due to an injury. Rohit had said at the time that the Indian pacer's injury was minor.

But in an interview to PTI today, a board official said that it is not possible for Bumrah to play in the T20 World Cup for any reason. He suffered severe back injuries. Bumrah may have to be off the field for six months.
