How much is the government's reward for Dawood Ibrahim, Chhota Shakeel, Anees Ibrahim and Tiger Memon?

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a reward of Rs 25 lakh in the name of underworld don and Dawood Ibrahim, who was convicted in the 1993 Mumbai blasts.

A reward of Rs 20 lakh has been announced on his associate Chhota Shakeel. At the same time, a reward of Rs 15 lakh each has been announced for Anees Ibrahim, Javed Chikna and Tiger Memon. Whoever gives information about these people to NIA will be rewarded with this amount.

A number of serious cases have been registered against underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and other members of the gang, which the NIA is continuing its investigation. These include serial blasts in Mumbai in 1993 that killed hundreds of people. In this case, the TADA court convicted many people, including Dawood Ibrahim and Tiger Memon, and sentenced them severely. The court has declared Dawood and Tiger Memon as absconders. According to Indian intelligence agencies, the two have been hiding in Pakistan since the Mumbai blasts.

Dawood Ibrahim's assistant was arrested by the Maharashtra ATS last month. Dawood's younger brother and an absconding criminal Anish Ibrahim have also been named in the FIR registered by the ATS. Parvez Zubair Memon, 47, was arrested from his home in Versova area. Along with Ennis, Memon was also reportedly involved in "anti-national activities".

In fact the work of the National Investigation Agency and the Directorate of Enforcement on the locations of D Company and its close associates in Mumbai continues. In a recent exclusive conversation with News18 senior correspondent Anand Tiwari, Chhota Shakeel reacted by saying that investigative agencies like NIA and ED are doing their job across the country and allowing them to do their job.
