Chief minister Bhagwant Mann launched the door-to-door ration scheme for the people of the state after being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Punjab.
The Punjab government on Monday launched a door-to-door ration scheme for beneficiaries availing ration cards in Punjab.
"From now on our old mothers should not queue up to avail ration card facility. No one should miss their daily work," said Bhagwant Mane, launching the door-to-door ration scheme.
The chief minister said government employees will also go from house to house to keep track of every beneficiary's ration as to whether they are getting their ration properly.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also welcomed Bhagwant Mann before launching the new scheme.
It may be recalled that Bhagwant Mane has also launched a new helpline number to free corruption in Punjab after being sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Punjab.
